Cape Town Zombie Walk 2017

Open Streets Mitchells Plain
The latest Open Streets was held in Mitchells Plain where Merrydale Avenue was closed to traffic and taken over by people on foot, skateboard and bike. For an area of Cape Town that I have always perceived as being a bit dangerous, that day all I saw was a lot of love with residents,  non-residents, friends and families walking together, cycling together, laughing together and playing together. There were even a few dogs in the mix. What a great experience! Now let us Capetonians resolve to do that every day... Read more

Woodstock Graffiti Tour with Juma Art Tours
To think that someone can create something so beautiful (and so HUGE) on a wall using cans of spray paint just boggles my mind. I was recently taken around Woodstock by Juma Mkwela (who also grew up in Zimbabwe) to see various murals by local and international artists.
